The Mime Order by Samantha Shannon (The Bone Season book 2) has Paige back in London, having escaped Sheol I, but things are still wrong. Scion is still in charge, and Paige wants to tell the Unnatural Assembly all about the Rephaim, and the truth behind Scion.
Jaxon wants to keep all of that quiet, and wants Paige back with him, but Paige doesn’t feel that’s her place any more. She is being torn between what life used to be like before she knew the truth, and wanting everyone to know what is really going on.
This is an enjoyable continuation of the story started in The Bone Season. I enjoyed seeing where the story was going, and look forward to the next book, to see what’s going to happen next!
