One of the things that I really like about Ali Hazelwood’s books is that the setting is always going to be something STEM related, and since I don’t know much about that world, I find the insights to be fascinating!

The world of politics in academia was well written, and the romance was great!

I have loved every Ali Hazelwood book I’ve read so far, and she has become one of those authors that I’ll read whatever I can get my hands on!

This is a lovely book, set in Provence, France. It is atmospheric, and made me feel like I was having a summer holiday, with great descriptions of the food, the little town, the chateau, and the vineyard!

It’s a romance with a holiday away feel, so a great pick if you want to imagine yourself away somewhere warm!

Molly is a maid in a 5 star hotel, and the story is told from her point of view.  She is also neuro-divergent, and so struggles to read social cues.

It is a really interesting insight into how hard the world is to negotiate when you don’t understand social cues! The writing really works, and you can see through what Molly sees, to understand the context.

I found this to be a heart warming mystery, and I really enjoyed the ending.

If you’re looking for a book to really get you on the mood for autumn, then this is a great book for that! It’s a spicy romance with a heavy autumnal feel, enough that I’ve had to look up a recipe for cider doughnuts, and I’m planning to make some!

It’s a very atmospheric book, set in small town America, and it’s very cosy!

I enjoyed the story, the autumnal feels, and it really made me think of Gilmore Girls in the setting.

This is book 3 in the Devil Wears Prada series, and I found the earlier two books to be quite uncomfortable in places, but I really enjoyed this book!

There is lots of drama, with three main story lines interweaving, one of which is Emily, from the first book!

I found the PR insights to be really interesting. It’s an enjoyable story, with lots of ups and downs!

This has 2 points of view, Kiera, who is a trans female, and Angel, whose tone is very noir detective!

This has a multiple characters who are LGBTQ+, and different relationships.

It’s set 20 years in the future, and the technology is very cyber punk!

It’s a really good detective story, with lots of twists.

This has evocative retellings of a select number of Shakespeare’s plays. It gave me a lot of insight into the stories, and has some modern day explanations.

I found the book to be entertaining, and I enjoyed the way things in the plays affected the acting group!

This is a heart warming story, with some self discovery and a lot of Shakespeare!

This is a crime story, told from Tom’s point of view, and interviews with different people from after the events.  This gives the story a sense of foreboding.

Unfortunately, it’s set in Cornwall, and there was enough geographic issues that brought me out of the story, and sending messages to family members about characters being near Wade bridge, catching the train from Penzance, and how Fowey was ‘just up the coast’. There was another error, not to do with geography, that also brought me out of the story.

I wanted to enjoy this book, but I’m afraid there was too much pulling me out of it.

This is the second book in the Accidental Medium series, and is just as good as the first one!

It’s a spooky mystery with things that go bump in the night!

The story was good, with some new characters, and changes for Tanz! It’s a great continuation of the story, and I’m looking forward to reading more!
