My review:’⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is third book in Rachel’s Pudding Pantry series. This is a sweet romance with lots of baking recipes throughout.

It was good to see the resolution of a series I’ve been reading for a while! It has quite a cosy feel, even if it is set in the summer! The other two have had a feel of cold weather.

This is the 14th book in the Chronicles of St Mary’s series.

It’s another great book in this hilarious series of books!

I have loved seeing the characters develop over the series, and this didn’t disappoint, with more fun and adventure for some form favourite characters!

I enjoyed the wrapping up of some loose threads from previous books.  It is a very quick follow on from the previous book.

My review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I found the use of magic on this book to be quite unusual, and I really liked the idea!

This is a really enjoyable adventure fantasy book. There is lots of tension flowing through the story, and it gets built up at the right moments!

I enjoyed the characters, and found them to be interesting and well rounded.

My review:⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a direct sequel to Her Majesty’s Royal Coven, with events from that book feeling very recent. I thought this was great as there were a number of storylines that needed resolution!

This was a fast moving read, with some interesting new characters and locations! I really enjoyed the story development as well!

It’s quite a gritty, dark book, but it’s written really well!

The end means there’s going to be at least a third book in this series, so I’m looking forward to that!

My review:⭐⭐⭐

This is a fantasy book, obviously setting up for a series, with reference to characters and the secret agencies.

It’s got lots of intrigue, secrets and treachery. It’s told from 2 points of view, a princess and a dowager duchess.

I found this a little confusing in places, but I enjoyed the magic.

My review:⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a hilarious, sweet, sad read that had me cringing at certain points.

It’s a fun romance, with recognisable characters, and situations that you understand exactly how they’ve happened, even if you aren’t as clumsy as our main character!

I enjoyed all of the story, and I was interested on what the ending was going to be, right up until the ending!

Well, this was a ride! It starts with the death, and then you go through the day of the party to understand what happened.

This was a really enjoyable read, even if it did make me anxious, I kept turning the pages!

The characters are vibrant with depth. The story is told from the point of view of Nadine, the hostess of the party, and the daughter of the person whose birthday they are celebrating.

I enjoyed seeing it all from Nadine’s point of view. There is guilt, anger and lots of secrets!

This is a gripping tale, where you are forever grasping at straws as to what happened, until the author tells you!

My review:⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a follow on from the story in the previous books, with serial killer Evan Burke back in the spotlight.

Cindy is on a book tour, promoting her book written about Burke, and something is happening on the tour.

It’s an enjoyable thriller, with lots of action.

I’m still happy to read these books, I’ve liked the continuing of the story with the same characters.

My review:⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a beautifully drawn graphic novel, with great use of colour, so memories are more golden toned, which emphasises that they are good.

The characters are well written, with great movement in the drawing. There’s a great small town look as well!

This really gets the teenagers experiences such as people at school across, and gives a great atmosphere!

My review:⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Hiding Place is a tense thriller, told in two timelines, one set in 1997 at a boy’s boarding school, and the other in present day.

One of the boys from the boarding school went missing all those years ago, and is found in present day.

It’s a good story, written well, so you don’t see the twists coming, and it has a great build to the story!
